I got to admit Coach Kelly is a monster hire it looks like; Saban will be retiring in the next couple years as his ego is not going to be able to handle Coach Kelly/ LSU Take over!

Say goodbye to Howard also as well as future recruits who will never trust BK again.

If Howard comes in, balls out, and starts what makes you think this won’t happen? And then we are left with who behind Howard? Truth is, if you think Williams is worth a shot then at least you’ll have Howard behind him for a couple of years.
Let’s not forget Brennan had his foot out the door already and Nuss didn’t want to burn his redshirt for the exact purpose of looking ahead to maybe having to transfer down the road.

You risk losing Howard to the portal.

Why? Howard is sitting a year. What difference does it make to him whom he sits behind?

Holy shite some people are fricking stupid. If Myles starts and doesn’t get hurt he’d be redshirting this year anyway. You think he would transfer being a freshman backup behind Caleb Williams, who would only be here 2 years max? We aren’t even getting Williams, but the pussy attitudes some of you have is astounding.

New Flash;
If you are a coach at any level for any organization you should always pursue the best players. You can't recruit players worrying about rather your current players will get upset are not.
Its your responsibility to bring in the best players as long as they are not problem.
You can never have to many good players!

Agree. Saban doesn’t. Walker not going any where , Nussmier I really don’t care. He has not shown to me he is better than anyone we have and certainly not Williams or Walker. I prediction is he will eventually transfer. When his team needed him he was not there. In my opinion.

If you bring in Williams you likely lose Brennan and Howard to the portal. Plus future recruits will not trust you. It’s not rocket science.

You keep stating this same thing over and over and have yet to show anything that makes it true. It's pure speculation.

Brennan, sure but in reality, does it matter? He's got 1 year, if he stays healthy, which is a bigger gamble than taking Williams and him possibly transferring. He's never been healthy so what makes you so sure he will next year? Trusting Brennans health seems to be the biggest risk to our qb room.

Howard is redshirting regardless and no matter where he goes he's gonna have someone ahead of him initially. Him transferring is pure speculation on your part with no basis to stand on.

Nuss, so what? He's already shown his colors. Making the decision to save his RS, leaving us with Kirklin as the qb for the bowl is all I needed to see regarding Nuss. No loss if he leaves. It's coming whether Williams were to come or not. Howard's better and the next recruit will be as well. He can leave now and I won't lose sleep over it

So really what's the bigger risk, taking Williams and having Brennan and Nuss bolt or trusting Brennan to be healthy and Nuss to actually play when called upon? Maybe just me but seems the room we have is more risky than taking Williams.

As for the recruits not trusting BK after, is this only an LSU thing? Doesn't seem to hurt any other coaches around the country. Every coach in the country has something like this in their background and many a yearly occasion yet they still bring in top classes. Strange or maybe it's just not a big deal.

I post all this in no way believing Williams is coming here. Just saying if the choice is mine, I take Williams and win now. May the chips fall where they may. The portal makes it an even easier decision. This qb carousel is gonna be a yearly thing for all schools. The next guy is always just a year away now if needed.

I disagree. I think you lose Myles if Caleb comes. One is not going to want to play sparingly. I think Walker would be ok with Caleb. He is planning to sit for a year and then he can play alittle the next year for experience and then full starter in 2024. Now if Arch comes, then I see Walker transferring.

This is what I don’t get. LSU fans are notorious for trashing players if they don’t perform. It doesn’t matter how good of a person the kid is, if he doesn’t perform fans will be calling for the back up. We’ve seen it with just about every qb who has a bad game. We’ve seen it with Brennan, Max, Nuss all recently. LSU fans also love to say “No chest” the second a player decommits or enters the transfer portal…Myles just pulled his name out of the portal and people are all the sudden loyal to him? Let’s not forget the second he has a bad game we’ll hear let’s roll with Howard to prepare for our future. I want Brennan to kill it and be rewarded for sticking it out for so long and waiting his turn, but he is injury prone and this is major college football with huge stakes. As long as a player isn’t a cancer to the team full of baggage you take the best players you can get. You put the best talent on the field and don’t turn it away to another team.

With all that said he’s not coming here, but you have to hear him out of there is any interest.

Not saying he gets Caleb, but nothing would surprise as to who Kelly gets. The guy doesn’t let up.
would be very surprised because no one at LSU is recruiting him.

Ok so the kids have to be managed. Alabama and Clemson and Ohio State and Georgia have the same issues…. They manage it every year.

LSU clearly has roster issues on Offensive line. Linebacker and defensive back field.

Why can’t we be like Bama.
