Tyler accepted his scholly today for Southeastern. 
Also made all district and all parish 1st team for both. Way to go Tyler

I don't his name but there is a kid from Denham Springs playing baseball for Temple College in Temple, TX. Can someone give me his name and HS stats? Dru Nettles was a freshman when I was a senior at DSHS.

I don't see anyone from Denham on the roster LINK, but that doesn't mean that they aren't there, JCs aren't normally the most vigilant about updating their athletic sites.

Well the kid had a conversation with our GM during a sports function at TC last week. Our GM asked him if he knew me or any of my relatives. Which he did not. I just would like to know his name because I have three kids going to Temple College right now and they have all spent plenty of time in Denham Springs.

well dru wasnt a freshman then. i graduated with him and our freshman year was 85-86. we graduated in 89.

I just remember him catching at DSHS and I guess it was from the stands. I remember his name and because I seem to only remember the people from DSHS with a +/- 3 years of my graduating class of '83. I incorrectly thought he fell into that group. I did follow DHSH sports and was a season ticket holder until I moved in '91. I can't remember if Dru caught for Brad Meadows and Ben McDonald on the State Championship Game or was it from one of the PARDS All Star teams I remember watching him play.

Dru was our Catcher in 86.....and it's Brad Meadors
We had an awesome group....Glass, Harris, Fontenot, Sceroler, McDonald, Kimble, Dugas, Nettles....etc
