Just saw where Lindsey Scott was named as LSWA 5A Offensive Player of the year.

As if making an improbable run to a second consecutive Class 5A state championship wasn’t enough, the Acadiana High Wreckin’ Rams saw two of their own claim two of the state’s top individual honors.
AHS head coach Ted Davidson was voted Coach of the Year and defensive back Ronald Broussard was tabbed as the Outstanding Defensive Player for a second consecutive season on the Louisiana Sports Writers Association’s Class 5A All-State team.

Broussard, a 5-9 175-pound senior, continued to be a shutdown corner for the Rams’ defense and he ended his career as the school’s all-time leader in interceptions with 23.

Not that I know of, but his dad was a QB at Southern I believe in the 80's heyday around the time Eric Randle was there.

You may get your chance. He is about as under the radar as it gets on the recruiting services. All indications that I can see is that he is interested in CFB career and is a good student. Evidently he has not camped anywhere but he is in a big program in the top class in the state so somebody will figure it out eventually.

Not as far under the radar as it may seem. -Camped last summer Univ. Texas, UH, La.Tech, USM, and LSU (briefly). Getting attention from Arizona State, Cal, Boston College, NC, and Wake Forest. Camps don't mean much for a kid who is under 6'2. Media drools over 6'2 and up guys during the summer. Players like Scott set themselves apart "DURING THE SEASON". There is nothing a player is going to show a coach in shorts (at camp) during the summer, that he didnt show on film. Film dont lie.

I project him to a PAC 12 "pass friendly program", or a TCU-type program. Clemson/Auburn would be good SEC fits. Academically he grades out of most smaller schools. Harvard, Yale, Stanford caliber student.
