JT also has the highest percentage of College dropouts because of the garbage education they get in his school.
Someone got cut and didn't make the team.

Guy Lecompte, Mandeville High School. It's no secret Mandeville is short on talent. Does not have the speed of the river parish and not the size of north La. Since he took over 6 years ago he has put out 29 college players. 10 D1, 5 D2, 14 D3
Would have loved to see what he could have done with the talent Mand had prior to him being there.
And yea he does fire a lot of assistance, some good ones that made me scratch my head. Dude is sort of a AH and hard to get along with so that prob contributes.

Nice try, Blowme, but I coached a lot of kids that went to JC, got a Scholarship and washed up after one semester.
Why do you think Eddy Lacy went to Summer School there to get eligible? To be challenged?

That would have been crazy to witness. EJ Jones, Mike Pam, Tate, AK, Zenon, BJ Sams... Where did that go.

Sounds like we prob played together. What year you grad? And yea it seems like after 05 the talent just disappeared, dont get me wrong there have been some damn good players since just not the team as a whole though. T Demelo and the LB corp of 08 are just some that come to mind.

This may be just my opinion and I may be in the minority but student athletes can make school whatever they want it to be. If they want a challenge they can push themselves with college credit courses, take additional hours etc. Those looking to cruise by on God given talent may not push as hard. It has a lot to do with the family though. I know the Curtis family personally and they are GREAT people. JT has a great relationship with Saban and I would think maybe that is why Eddy Lacy went there. I truly don't know though.
Until you have a solid source with a link to student athlete flunk out rate from Curtis vs every other high school in the state/country I would reserve judgement. That's just me though. Feel free to throw broad statements out.
