I know the Curtis family personally and they are GREAT people. JT has a great relationship with Saban and I would think maybe that is why Eddy Lacy went there. I truly don't know though.

Congratulations on knowing jt curtis personally. What other random recruits went to alabama because of him?

Dang, my original post was kinda harsh...Stupid Beer.

I know the Curtis' too. They have gotten a lot better with having kids get the Test scores in recent years, but that was not always the case. I don't need sources, I know the ones of which I speak. They weren't prepared academically to make it in College. I suspect it's better now. I am not a Curtis hater at all, heck, my kids were Pre-enrolled there before I took a job up here. I've worked with Corey alot introducing parents to him.

I don't know what would give anyone the impression that you are a hater. If you know JT, go ahead and let him know how you feel personally. As a person who works with these kids we have to combat idiocy of the highest degree from people like you. Curtis has an honors program for kids who are ready to excel in the classroom and I know for a fact it isn't a walk in the park. Do you have a few students who struggle in school but are excellent athletes? Of course you do, but I would love to see which school doesn't. The difference between Curtis and other schools is the coaches actually care and since many are teachers as well, they will tutor and work with the kids instead of giving up on them. You obviously missed the memo on what the school is really about. Remember that one C in JCCS stands for Christian.

I've said they improved. Since Johnny and Jeff came on it's gotten better and better. No idiocy from me, pal, there was a history of Curtis kids not making it. This is not opinion, this is fact.

I admitted my op was a little harsh, but was at one time true.

Ashley Brignac from JT has a perfect 4.0 GPA in college and was Capital One Academic Athelete of the year,The educational foundation she received from JT couldn't be called garbage.Perhaps the other atheletes didn't apply themselves in college.Name the other Louisiana atheletes from Louisiana High Schools who maintained a 4.0 GPA and was named Capital One Academic Athelete of the year.Ashley has achieved that honor twice. The only other athelete to ever have achieved that honor two years in a row was Lindsay Schutzler from Tennessee in 2006 & 2007.Everyone would love to have their children have an opportunity at such garbage education. All the students at JT had the same opportunity to do what Ashley has done.Apparently it isn't the problem of the JT's educational program but the individual student.
