I have been wondering since last week why we were not hosting an event after the dead period.

You can’t keep them on your campus every weekend. If they explore and commit elsewhere it’s not meant to be. I would rather have them do this now than string us along to national signing day. It is the staffs job now to retain Davis and sign Cain.

Exacty.... makes no sense whatsoever.... 0 was hired for his recruiting and yet cant even setup a simple event after a dead period. Head scratcher for sure

One of the weaknesses Ed has displayed over his career is a cockiness in recruiting. It might work as a DL coach/recruiter, but you can’t be that way as a HC.

OR, you can be smart and realize that every other slapdick will have something and the recruits will be scattered...so you wait a week or so after when you can get everyone together.

The entire month of August is a dead period which means only phone calls and social media contact.
