Sounds good, but how many mentors like to come work for someone they "trained"?

:rimshot:

That doesn't mean he has issues with LSU, just that he coaches somewhere else. I mean anything personal against LSU, ie would he consider coming to coach here?

yeah, I saw his bio on rivals. I don't doubt his coaching talent, just what he's done at Bama is enough.

That scenario would be ideal, I wouldn't mind promoting Frank to OC love to get another big recruiter as RB coach. Hell bring back Porter, he just took RB coach job at ASU.

He spoke with Coppage today and an article tommorow ao we'll see what he said to Coppage. I still take it 50/50 with kids even when they are talking but it will give some insight to the rumor.

Why would a kid want to be a run of the mill LB when he's a 1st rate RB? Makes no sense and I'm not buying it at all. Way too long and too many rbs to commit to Bama before he does for me to get worked up about a rumor. I can buy him going somewhere other than LSU but I'm not concerned with it 2 years out.

Run of the mill my arse brother and StAug95 can tell u that the kid is a stud LB too. I also understand about not getting worked up about the situation.

He was an animal as a frosh with contact and floored some guys on D and special teams as a soph..

I'm shocked by the up coming interview

Yeah, I agree, I really didn't know to much about him, his resume looks pretty good. Would love him at LSU, maybe P is right and he wants to move closer to home.

Time for Stud to get fired, give a raise and promotion to OC for Wilson and unload the piggy bank for Burns
And the OL will just coach themselves?

What exactly has Stud done wrong, anyway?

Its not that so much as he wants to keep Wilson and thinks we have to promote him in order to keep him around thru 2014 NSD.

Better sceanrio and more realistic, is for Stud to take another job, either as OC or a HC somewhere.

I think he or someone else also mentioned making Wilkerson the OL Coach..

Why do folks think that Wilkerson's one career season of unpaid coaching experience qualifies him to coach maybe the most important position group at a nationally elite program? Many have questioned whether Raymond and Henry have the chops with far more experience, but we just assume Wilkerson does?

It was just a half-hearted option I put out there. They could sign any o-line coach. The only name you could really come up with without doing research on potential candidates after another whole year

Has he committed to Bama yet?

I'll keep checking these threads daily and expecting him to commit to Bama any day now.

Silent committ. In fact I heard the top La players from 9th down to 1st grade all have Bama as their top choice.
