Leonard Fournette--Never to early to start recruiting-Season Stats

Per Rivals....."New Orleans Augustine got another big performance from Leonard Fournette in a 52-30 win over McDonogh 35 last week. It is hard to believe that the 6-foot, 210-pound running back who turned in a 241-yard, two-touchdown performance in the win is just a 14-year-old freshman."
SEASON STATS FRESHMAN YEAR
Vs. McDonogh
241 yds ----2 TD
Vs. West Jeff
238 yds ----3 TD
Vs. Easton
209 yds ----4 TD

Wherever Frank Wilson is at the time of his graduation is likely where Leonard will be.

If he is that size as a freshman is he still going to be a running back?

He's very, very young.
He's very, very good.
LSU is very, very lucky that Wilson has such a very, very tight relationship with Johnson.

I heard Hilliard is the same height now as he was as a freshman. Early Doucet was the same way. Some kids grow early. The St Aug kid may fill out more but I would not be shocked if he matured early. Wait and see what happens. Plenty of time before we start hyping this kid.

The hype for this kid is gonna be huge if he continues to put up numbers like last week....should be fun to watch the ups and downs of his recruiting.....although i hope he sends a message to other recruits and commits September 1st 2012

From his film, his running style looks like a younger version of South Carolina's Lattimore.

we can only hope....i knew our shot at lattimore was very slim/none the entire process...but i always thought he would dominate for us...ohh well

Pretty amazing considering the level of competition and his age.
I think Terry Lucas (#14) looks like a nice athlete for 2012.

They missed one of his TD's. He finished with 3.
Box Score West Jeff-St. Aug

That's because it was versus Mc 35, not West Jeff.
