Then you might do some research and instead of bash A&M's OL recognize they started 2 trur freshman at both tackles the entire year in Joeckel and MAtthews and one was a freshman all-american and one freshman all-conference. Add to that sophs at both guard's. They and a heck of a year and most knowledgeable football fans would think that those kids would get better going into there soph and jr years. But your post about them not even being a good OL is laughable.

also, if you had any clue about Mike Sherman, you would not speak ignorance about sqeaky clean. I wish he would have been dirty, but the guy just doesn't have it in him and the alumni are to gun shy to cheat anymore. That is why it has been a decade of decline.
Yea, he didn't have that many offers his best being Ark..His others were Baylor, Arizona, T. Tech. He did not have a committable offer from A&M of he would have taken it. Good player but not a elite kid.

His quotes in this committment article from the OSU site says it all.

"Really, I had two schools that had offered me that were my top two offers and schools that I felt I could call home. I could see myself at those two and they were Texas A&M and OSU. Texas A&M had been recruiting me since my sophomore year and they are filling up their recruiting class and they told me they had what they needed. Oklahoma State was my second choice and I know I can call it home."

Jake Sheehy from St Marks FL is getting alot of attention.

6'5" 225

has 30+ catches for 400+ yards and 9 TD's last year. I know the FL schools along with Ole Miss/A&M/S. Carolina have been in touch. Am sure lSU has also.

I live in Panama City, in the heart of Semenhole country and most in the know FSU people do not feel good about him. The same can be said in Lake City, I have some buisness partners there and they keep telling me this is just like the CJ Spiller situation. Grew up FSU fan and everything was all FSU. Just down the road from the campus, but for some reason he wanted to get out of the state and away from anyone he knows so that nothing will distract him from getting to his ultimate goal, the NFL. That is what they think Jernigan feels also.

We shall see as I just can't see him not at FSU, but I would love to see the meltdown from my FSU buddies.

Been friends for 25 years. He will do a good job for Porter.

Manziel, the QB commit A&M just got, may play many things in college other than QB. HE has been promised a shot at QB but we all know that does not mean that is where hew will stay. Great ath..

the only thing I would say about the QB synopsis that was laid out is A&M has a SR QB graduatng and LSU has a QB comming back that is a SR ( no matter how inconsistant he has played). We shall see, but like I posted before, I think those are the final 2 teams for him.

He could definetly visit other schools, but there is a dead period in the middle of that time and the kid wants to have his destination made before Christmas..

Kid is as close to a cna't miss prosepect as I have seen comming out of JUCO in the past 12 years. IT helps tremendously that he went to UGA first just like NEwton went to Blinn before JUCO and Auburn. I think Mettenberger is the much better QB over Newton. THey have practiced against the top competition and know the speed.

Zach Mettenberger seems to be putting it all together out in Kansas at Butler Community College. He has set up a couple of his official visits and you can get the latest here.

"I will be visiting Texas A&M on October 30 and LSU on November 20," Zach Mettenberger told Scout Tuesday morning. "I am waiting to schedule my third official visit."
LSU has officially offered Mettenberger and Texas A&M will do so during his official visit.

Arizona, Cincinnati, and Troy have also offered the 6-foot-5, 240 pound gunslinger.

He is still exploring his options and no leader has emerged yet, but he did list Arizona, LSU, and Texas A&M as his top three in no order.

The JUCO quarterback plans to enroll at the school of his choice in January 2011 and he will have three years to play three on the Division I level.

Through five games in 2010, he has thrown for 1,167 yards, 14 touchdowns, and three interceptions.

Sorry, thought you could read it.

Going to A&M Oct 30th and LSU Nov 20th.. That is the only 2 he has schedualed and msot think that will be the final 2 he picks from. HE will enroll in Jan, so he doesn't have time for many more..
the entire LB corp is sick for Clear Springs. Randle-LSU Matthews-A&M Baggs-A&M .

Mullen will not release him to a SEC school. He will not be in the SEC unless he goes to JUCO and then graduates from JUCO and goes to SEC school.

As far as nobody does that in reguarding breaking NCAA rules, many do, but they do not when it comes to a kid that is still under his letter of intent to another school and hasn't been released. That will get you more penalties than BAma and USC got put togahter.
