Thought he was going to be a monster coming out of high school. Injuries have derailed him at Oregon, but would he be worth a flyer with our LB depth chart?
IIRC he did have some initial interest, but Cali kids don’t usually work out.

Go get him. Injury prone or not. Michael Penix was injury prone at Indiana too then played a full season at Washington this year.

I am grateful for JD but I have thought about what we could have done if we would have got Penix out the portal. He throws a very nice deep ball
