There’s no such thing as a “recruiting insider” anyway, I can appreciate guys like VolTiger who say what the coaching staff is feeling but anyone who claims to know specifically what an 18 year old is going to do next week or month or year is completely full of shite. Most of these kids have absolutely no clue what they’re doing themselves and could change their minds randomly based off of their girlfriends not getting into LSU and going to Ole Miss or something of that nature. Anyone who will take a hard stance on an 18 year old who’s getting pulled from all sides is going to do in the future is a liar or an idiot

He wasn't a troll. He was just a really exuberant fan who got some info he was excited to share.

To me, threads like that are fun and I appreciate the info, but then again, I'm smart enough to realize the following:

- The info could be entirely made up (I think it was legit in this case)

- The circumstances could change (it's fricking recruiting guys)

- Our staff seems to have a tendency to sometimes overestimate our position with recruits

Honestly, I think Lee kind of wants to commit, but keeps either being talked out of it, or really does just get cold feet.

Taulia may or may not have genuine interest in us, but I don't believe he was ever committing yesterday. There are simply too many factors pulling in Alabama's favor. And last night showed just how big a gap there is between them and the rest of the league, because I honestly believe we're the second best team in the SEC and we got absolutely dominated.

WTF is ya’ll?

How about we get some news on a QB that actually matters or DL/OL which have been the problems at this university for what feels like a decade now? Remember when this university use to be called dline-U? Seems like forever ago. We have 23921039281 young WRs on the roster anyway.

This is perhaps the most perplexing thing for me. The DL has not been all that great this year. I would've imagined O would get guys lining up to restore this glorious dline-U moniker but guys like Lawrence have been nothing short of disappointing.

Sure would be nice if we could put together a senior class with leadership finally. I fully expect Lawrence to leave prematurely as so many have before him and obviously White/Greedy are for sure gone with likely being 1st round picks. We'll be worse next year for sure on defense even if it's good.

Amen brother. Vol is a complete fraud and I have explained why in other threads. If you guys chose to believe him for entertainment purposes, so be it. Just know it is all fiction.
