People. Rogers signed with TCU. It's over, he isn't coming to LSU.

The last four in are Surtain, Joseph, Goodrich, and Chase.

The first 3 out are Foster, Watkins, and Williams.

Isn't Bama after Surtain? They generally get who they go after.

re: Last four spots...who gets them?
Listed according to talent.

1. Chase- His film is spectacular. He is about as polished as a WR as he could be at this age in his life. He looks like a man playing with kids with his ability to snatch a ball out of the air. And the one thing that always translates, from any level to the next, I’d sure hands. This dude is never covered because oh his ability to go and get the ball. Despite the fact that he is an excellent route runner and he’s superior with the ball in his hands. The tandem of he and Marshall would truly create cause for us to never use TE’s again.

2. Goodrich- The one thing that jumps out at you is his athleticism. He is dynamic with the ball, going get the ball, coming and making tackles. How he is not rated a five star is left for the world of “experts to explain.

3. Surtain- Yes. My eyes tell me that Goodrich is a better prospect than Surtain. Surtain has the length and range. He even has great ball skills. He simply doesn’t show the same type of dynamic change of direction and explosiveness with the ball in his hands as Goodrich. Do I think that Surtain is overrated? No. With his size, ball skills, willingness to tackle, pedigree, etc. etc. I do think that he is deserving of a 5 star rating. I just think that anyone watching gooruvhs film, and not seeing a 5 star player, is living in some world other than I am.

P.S.
To further my Surtain Argument. Look at Greedy Williams. His size and range make him an asset. He may not be the most dynamic athlete, but his ball skills make him someone you almost have to stay away from. Point being; my opinion of Surtain not being a dynamic athlete, is not an insult to his five star status. But if you took Surtain, and I took Goodrich. I wouldnt lose a wink of sleep. That’s how good I feel about Goodrich.

4. Joseph: Kelvin Joseph possess something you can’t coach or create. Fearless aggression. He might not be an A+ at anything, but he is not less than a B+ at everything. And his agressice style is something that cant be manufactured. Think Delpit and Adams. You see a dude who should still be in high school (Delpit), run up full speed and bring down Guice one on one in the spring game, and I had no questions about who would be manning that position for the near future. My first though was, wsit, that’s the same dude that almost killed the FSU running back in the Under Armour game.
P.S. If Joseph had committed to Bama Early, he would still be a 5 star. No proof, just a feeling. Like, if he commits the Bama, in the final rankings, he will be a 5 star. No proof.. Just a feeling.

Nice. Have seen where others, here, have said similar things.

yeah, those two together are potent. And I get what you're saying, but I do want to point out even though that was a little tongue-in-cheek, if we have an OC with his salt the potency [demonstrated by play/playcalling] will open up opportunities for TEs/FBacks.

Thank you. I honestly didn't know much about him other than 'blurbs' where some were saying he's good and others were saying that was only because we lost out on Cook.

I'm going to go ahead and say I disagree with you about Surtain not being better, BUT that's only because Surtain will be coached by Raymond; I guess I'm saying more upside with the proper coaching. And I'm good with it for sure if I'm wrong; part of my disagreement is probably due to being more familiar with Surtain. The possibility of having a lockdown corner (or two) with a nickel that is almost the same makes me salivate. And it should all DL, being recruited and on the roster, too.

Agreed. Even though the depth chart doesn't scream it, he's very very important. As far as I've been, and am, concerned he's a must get for us for a myriad of reasons. And I do like the Adams comparison; and I hope and expect it to play out that way. Again, having Raymond and that type of player for him to start with always pays dividends. He takes that and makes it so much better, quickly, one thinks he's a wizard.

One needs to be a QB, 2 DBs and BPA.
