I grew up in New Orleans and really dont know much about the Geismar community. But from reading this thread it sounds like its located very close to LSU. So my questions are...Do Geismar residents own TVs?...Are they football fans? Are they COLLEGE football fans? And if the above is true...WHY wouldnt they be LSU fans? Do they root for the Saints but not LSU? Or do they just not care about sports...especially football?
I just cant understand the premise that this community that's located very close to the STATE UNIVERSITY...one that boasts an ELITE football program...just doesnt care about LSU or the football program.
After reading the thread...I also understand that Geismar is predominately a black community. Is there a race issue for this community concerning LSU? I believe the LSU football program has had at least 6 starting black QBs in the last 15 years..(Tyler, Rohan, Randall, JR, RP, and JJ)...maybe im missing someone. Maybe BigEd can explain why he thinks Geismar residents are "apathetic" about LSU football...

basically, he's full of shite.
i live in geismar and have never heard all this negative lsu he speaks of. i go to all the football games and almost all the baseball games last year. he's even mentioned eddy lacey which we all know is a different story.
it's pretty mixed now, sure there are some black areas. but there are also some big neighborhoods that aren't. dutchtown is one of the main schools that have taken in the influx of baton rouge people moving here.

Just took the chance to take a shot at Nick, even though I am not sure if it is him or his wife that can't reproduce...

The guy said he thinks landon will come to lsu, then turns around and starts bashing people who said he was an lsu lock. Then goes off saying that geismar doesnt support LSU. He is def full of shite.

Whenever he visits her, she reminds him that he and his "elk" are not wanted in Geismar, and to watch LSU by himself in the garage.

If someone showed up to my house with an elk, I would probably tell them to stay out of the house as well. I don't want to clean up elk-shite.
