I figured it was doubtful, but regardless of a kids hype, and if he's close with his dad, you never know.
Their DE's are beginning to stack up like their RB's. Dunno why recruits don't see that. I can say the same for LSU, but at least they are stacking up their ENTIRE line.

for the record, Sam Carter lists Texas and LSU as his top 2. Not necessarily in that order.

Per Texas fans.
You know, I'm not saying that he will land at LSU, but what I find about Texas fans is that they act as if he is an absolute Texas lock and there's no way he ends up elsewhere.....Not all of them think this way, but I do find it funny that they give no credit to anyone else.

Lache is going to Texas, Dyer is going to Arkansas so LSU needs to start looking elsewhere for their 5* RB...
What about Eddie Lacy and send him to Hargrave like K. Williams and there is your 2010 RB.
quote:
Well that's just because you're an idiot. Just keep ignoring what he has said about Texas.
quote:
You "know he and shep are good friends". Really? How do you know? Have they even met before?
quote:
McFarland has NEVER said LSU led, show me that article if you do I will retract my statement. I want an article not an Internet quote with no link.
I said that things would get interesting if BOTH Kinne and Harris transferred but only Kinne did so that point is moot since the imagined scenario didn't take place.
But my question on signing Lacy and prepping him for your 2010 class still stands.

I think you LSU guys are playing up the Louisiana angle a little too much. He was born there but he was raised in Temple, about an hour from Austin. His whole family lives in Temple which is 7 hours from Baton Rouge.
At this point it's still too early to tell but people around Temple have been saying Texas leads since his first visit to Austin. Mack has made him his top priority and was coaching him one-on-one at the camps. Plus, as someone else said, he will be at every Texas home game this year. Right now I'd say it's very close, but the future of his recruitment looks very good for Texas. I think there's a very good chance he ends up being our first commitment next February.

Thanks for the quotes from the other site(s). Lache has always told me LSU is the place for him and even after all the UT visits. Most UT fans only know what people with orange colored glasses tell them. They want tell their fan base that LS first visit to UT LS was wearing his LSU shirt. UT made him change shirts. Then they try to say he's all UT. Trust me he's not.

How does Dyer stack up versus Sestrunk?
Posted on 7/24/08 at 12:08 pm to Prominentwon
I think the last UT quote is pretty accurate. NSD day is an absurdly LONG way away and UT has MUCH in its favor.
I don't think he is a lock anywhere and both schools have much to offer so he's in an excellent position either way.

I think Seastrunk is more of the speed back. Dye is the powerful inside runner. I keep hearing that Dye is sold on one program already, presumably Arkansas, but again like we're all saying...there's still a long time to go till these '10 guys come into the picture and start getting all these special treatments.

Man, ive watched seastrunks video so many times. its crazy. he just has a whole other gear. and seems to have a knack for getting into the endzone. its like if hes close he wont be denied.
