So you're against LSU getting out of state recruits?

Is there no end to your stupidity?
Please point to one instance since Chavis has been here that we have had 3 down linemen and 4 LBs on the field. I'm all fricking ears on this one.

Frank Herron
Any more brain busters?
Go back to the Rant where you know more about calling for the program destruction.
Assfrick, we wanted BOTH Herron and Williams. We would have landed Herron whether or not we landed Williams. They weren't mutually exclusive. Hence, he cannot be a "replacement." To "replace" means to supplant. We lost Williams, so now who will we "replace" him with? That was my question, you linguistically challenged dolt.

Where?? on Madden.. Do you watch the games at all. He's not selling a 3-4 scheme to any recruits like Saban is b/c they 80% of the time play 4-3 or nickel and dime situations. Your argument is terrible!

not a good thing to lose top in-state recruits to Alabama. We would be better off if it didn't happen. Just admit that simply truth and the argument is over. But you won't, because your incapable of wresting yourself from your delusions.
You are just as delusional. This, like most of your comments misses the point but suits your narrative. Would it have been good to get Collins/Devall/Williams? Sure, but it is also good to get Thompson/Alexander/Herron.

The difference is, we also recognize that even though it isn't a good thing, this is something that happens to all programs. Some 18 year olds want to leave home. That happens. And even though there are a few outliers who decided to go else-wear, we do a better job of keeping top in state talent than anyone in the country. To argue that we are failing in this area is absurd and can only result from a predetermined bias.

You're an idiot
LSU rarely runs a 3-4 defense

Obviously it's not about getting the best players. He only wants players from Louisiana. Let's not consider that Kwon Alexander did more for us in an injury plagued year than Denzell Deval did for Bama.

You realize lsu stopped recruiting Williams hard months ago right?

The staff was not really pressing for him. Of course they could have taken both, but opted not to. The important thing is to have productive guys at the position, whether there was a direct replacement or not doesn't really matter.

Don't be angry that everyone here that follows recruiting don't care who leaves the state as long as there's a viable player behind him on the list. Run along now, old man. Like I said, you're welcome on the Rant where everyone agrees with you that LSU will finish 1-10 for the next 7 years.

Of course he does. Regardless, Saban stole Williams directly under Miles' nose. Which means that once again, Saban is an impeccable being.
312 loves him some Saban.

Pretty much the whole second half at A&M was three down lineman.

Has Alabama ever had any walk-ons who were the sons of past LSU All-Americans?
LSU has. FB Connor Neighbors, son of Alabama star Wes Neighbors and grandson of Bama A-A Billy Neighbors, walked on at LSU rather than receive a "Bryant" scholarship offer at MulliGumpashama.

Are you saying our d line class is bad? Scratch that.. Are you saying its average?

He has no idea what he is talking about. This d line class is absolutely loaded. But 312 is crying in his Cherrios about Tim frickin Williams.

Because they recognized they were unlikely to get him and needed to reassign resources elsewhere, NOT because they didn't "want" him. That's the truth, straight from people in the program. Don't be pathetic, don't resort to the risible old ploy that LSU didn't "want" every recruit it loses. That's a joke. We wanted Collins, we lost him. We wanted Duvall, we lost him. We would have gladly taken Williams, but initially we thought he was going to Miami, then Bama snuck in three weeks ago when Saban visited BR.
That's just the truth, what actually occured.
I'm not claiming that this means LSU is doomed. No one is. The OP was merely pointing out it's not a good thing to see an increasing trend of hihgly ranked Louisiana kids going to Bama. Anyone with a brain would recognize this.
