Kid must've had 20 catches. They threw to him about 80% of the time. Argyle basically boxed him in with 3 guys. Lovejoy's scheme is pretty weak. They didn't bring him in motion or move him around much at all. He did line up in the slot a few times. Can't believe they didn't motion him and run some jet sweeps.

Parker just had the 3rd most receptions in a game in Texas HS football history.

Right? He never moved from the far left side of the formation but only about 2xs that I saw.

That stat line at that level of Texas HS football is legit. This kid is going to shoot up the rankings if he keeps turning in performances like that.

Dude could end up with 2000 yards at the end of the season.

Looked up his stats from last year.
47 for 790 and 11 tds. He should move up big time if he keeps ballin out. Does anybody know how solid he is to us?

Watched some clips of him. He may be better than Brown and Sampson.

We're getting a good one!

Kyle Parker had 23 catches for 341 yards and three touchdowns. Parker’s 23 catches are third-most in a game in state history, according to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, and he fell three short of tying the state record of 26 by Jalen Curry of Houston St. Pius X in a 2017 game against Concordia Lutheran.

That’s just an absurd statline. I don’t even care if the competition he was playing was good or not. It’s hard to make that many catches on air from a HS QB. Unreal

ETA: I went back and checked MaxPreps on Argyle. KP just dropped those stats on a team that since 2018 has a record of 55-4.

LSU I think will be solid and competitive this year, likely a double digit winner next year and straight up monsters in 2024
