Kyle Parker WR commit- update

I’m at the Lovejoy HS game. Parker’s first catch was a slant for a short gain.
Catch 2 was a 60+ yard go route, just blew by the DB. Then got a penalty for doing the griddy or something similar.
Catch 3 was a screen, broke several tackles crossing the field and took it to the end zone, 40+ yards.
Catch 4 was another go route for a 50 plus TD.
Lovejoy scored again on a screen to an SMU commit and Parker had the key block to allow him to break free.
End of the first quarter, Parker has 4 catches for about 170 yards and 3 TDs. No dropped passes.
He is very fast. They won’t kick off to him.

Good lord now that is what I call a stat line. Let’s see if he keeps up the pace and goes for 16 catches 680 yards and 12 TDs.

It’s a video game. 42-42 at half.
Parker had 6 more catches for about 50 yards in the second quarter. No TDs. Couple tough catches. Kid has caught everything.

Said when he committed was way underrated in the recruiting sites. I'll bet he flies up by the end of his senior year.

Thanks, I was just about to respond to that. This is #2 vs #5 in Texas 5A football. You can take that "weak D shite" somewhere else.

If it's 42-42 at the half, that is weak arse defense anyway you slice it. And apparently, both defenses have been getting sliced up.

Lovejoy inside Argyle 5 yard line now under 15 seconds.
Argyle makes tackle to end the game.
Parker had 23 receptions and 341 yards. Announcers sucked.

To win the game you go Les and call a short side option lol instead of throwing it up for Kyle to catch.. kid is really really good. He caught everything thrown his way.
