Kwon Alexander Ranking Pre-Injury

Wasn't he ranked top 5 overall by Scout over the summer before he tore his ACL? I may not remember correctly but I'm pretty sure it was Alexander.
I remember looking at this beast OLB prospect who was a heavy lean to Bama and thinking, "why can't LSU ever get LB prospects like him". Very excited for KA to show what he can do for the TIGERS in the coming years.

Top 5 overall and was the #1 OLB before blowing out his knee

Exactly what I thought. Couldn't find any of the older scout 300 lists anywhere but Alexander is the "elite" player in this class for all the chicken littles who need one prospect to drool over.

what are the updates on his recovery

According to that list (It was not in any particular order), he was the top prospect in Alabama heading into this year.
Edit: Pretty impressive that he was still rated the #3 overall outside linebacker despite missing his senior season.

Did he just tear his ACL? With the way they can rehab today an ACL tear really isn't that bad. I mean look at big Sam, he didn't lose a step and I think he did much more than just a torn ACL. I think he should be considered just as high a prospect as before he injured his knee.

Nowadays usually the only bad thing coming out of it is the missed training time and recovery.

Agreed, the injury made a lot of people forget how good this kid is.
He's a 5-star talent IMO.

I read an article that an oxford local paper did about Kwon and the injury. They spoke only of an ACL tear and even talked abut exactly what tearing your acl means. This leads me to believe it was nothing more serious than that.

Is he 100% ? Any chance him or another incoming LB can't start or contribute this season?
