LSU is pretty well stacked at LBer for NEXT season I will admit. But we all know who follow football that many players are only 1 injury of an experienced player getting "nicked"(famous Les Miles term ) from having play time on LOS plays. College football experience is obviously on the side of starters.

He is a LOT like Perkins...a whole lot! That doesn't mean there aren't SOME differences. But they are reasonably similar in size (Perkins a little bigger), they each are abnormally fast, etc. As I've said, Perkins is NOT a great tackler but darn he gets to the play fast and disrupts plays. On the tackling, I attribute that to not quite being strong enough. In the Ole Miss game for example, Perkins missed 4 tackles...too many (confirmation BTW - "Perkins led the team with four missed tackles, per PFF." Of course to be fair, many LBers wouldn't have gotten to the ball carrier to miss the tackle to begin with. Cobbins has only played against HS players but looks plenty fast.

He reminds me of Duke Riley that LSU slept on till the end and he turned out pretty good!
