You all like to think we have paid more money than anyone in the leauge for our staff. That isn't true. The Head Coach is part of your coaching staff.

You can say how bad Kiffin is going to do. It really doesn't mean anything. They haven't played a game. You don't know. You wanted Orgeron. You wanted Jackson. They came to knoxville because they wanted to be there not baton rouge. Get over it.

You got Chavis. Congrats! He is a good coach. But I would trade John Chavis in a second for Monte Kiffin. You would to. We have a better staff and in time we will have better players and it scares the hell out of you. You know we are going to come to La. and get two or three of your best players every year. Get used to it.

Also, if LSU had offered that, Ogre would no doubt be wearing purple.
Would you guys really want him as an assistant? In my opinion, Tennessee has done a great job of putting all the clowns in one circus.

What the hell does Jackson have to do with this? Monte Kiffin is a seventy year old man running around with the Wild Boyz tearing their shirts up and yelling urban slang at recruits.

Not after he repeated the Ole Miss shirt-ripping routine.

I can actually disagree with every single sentence here. Nice job.

1) Kiffin has proven to be horrible as a coach. USC fans and Oakland Raiders owner and current coach have revealed that. You're the dummies that could have had Gruden who actually won with the Raiders.

2) Vol fans keep blowing up Kiffin who hasn't coached a game in college much less the SEC. So other fans point out his record. If you all and Kiffin would shut up and take care of business on the field, you might not get so many facts thrown in your face.

3) Tenn is known for having questionable character individuals around the football program. Congrats on O and Jackson. Your pattern is alive and well.

4) Thanks for Dominique Allen (Tenn FB - former UTK commit). We'll use him well.

Oh yeah, UGA thanks you for Morlon Brown and Austin Long.

Oh yeah, Michigan thanks you for Stokes.

Oh yeah, S. Carolina thanks you for Swearinger and Giles.

Oh yeah, Stanford thanks you for Nunes.

Bama is thanking you for '10 Keiwone Malone.

LSU or Bama will be thanking Tenn for '10 LB - Macklin.

Try keeping your few good in-state recruits at home before you claim to own a foothole in other states. Why bash Louisiana and then prove that you need our caliber of talent for your sorry @sses to compete?

What and where is a Knoxville, anyway?

Yea well played?

You take Allen (a Fulmer commit) and we will take Jackson. I will make that trade every year.

Also Nunes, Stokes, Giles were all committed to Fulmer not Kiffin.

Marlon Brown (not Morlon since you all are on top of all spelling mistakes) and Long. Were going to UGA way before Kiffin got to town. Memphis will come around shortly. When you have the recruiters we have on staff it is just a matter of time to build relationships.

As far as getting kids from La. with Wilson and Orgeron on staff. It is going to happen more and more. I will say it again. Get used to it.

Let me get this straight... You are going to turn around the losing records of your coaching staff because it will take time... You will get better talent but it takes time... You consider a fullback and a safety interchangeable... You will lock down Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, but it takes time. You are going to return to prominence but it takes time. Hell by all of that waiting kiffen sr. Will be dead.

I consider Jackson a Five star recruit. I consider Allen a three star. Who will never play a down at fullback. He is a lard arse. I seen the kid play twice. I also seen him in the offseason.

Brown, Stokes didn't know who their position coach would be if they went to Tennessee until three weeks from signing day. It takes longer than that. Also both were recruited by Drayton who was let go. Drayton also recruited Giles and that is the reason he went to USCjr. He said that.

Is it the University of Kiffin or Tennessee?

Whatever Brown's first name is, he's not a Vol. I do know that. Can you spell Mark Richt and Georgia Bulldogs? Howabout LSU and BCS national championships?

Don't give me "Long was going to UGA all along"...you can say that about Richardson, Teague, and Jackson as well. That didn't stop you from pursuing and landing them. Tell that crap to the Volnation and understand that everyone is not as hung up on UTK as you are.

You can very well come and get the players that we don't want. Louisiana will always have more talent than we can use or have room for. If that makes you guys real tough guys, so be it.

Again, try to keep the (7) 2010 ESPN 150 Watchlist players in TN at home before you talk smack. Also, it appears that you will only walk away with 2 or 3 at best.

Now, go home!

You have many excuses for UTK's shortcomings. It really makes you look foolish.

Leave now and just come back after you get a couple of wins under your belt. You are talking too much to be coming off a 5-7 season and a home loss to Wyoming.

Just go home and come back with some wins. To date, you have accomplished nothing of significance, but media material.

I didn't come over here and try to talk crap. The orginal post was about how Kiffin wouldn't be able to recruit. He can only pay big money to get a big staff who can. All I was saying was we pay less than LSU, Bama, FL, and Auburn.

You all blasted me because I am a Tennessee fan.

I'm not blasting you for being a Vol fan. I merely responded to you because you attempted to flame an LSU board with blanks.

The SEC is a better league with a better Tenn, Auburn, Arkansas, etc. We all win as a conference when that is the case. However, Vol fans have been flaming boards all over the SEC because of "new energy" that has not produced anything but embarrassment and minor recruiting violations.

Just tone it down a bit and appear to have an ounce of class.

Congrats on the new hires and recruits, but (thumbs down) on the unsubstantiated arrogance.

Let us simplify this. Normal is perceived as what everyone else is doing. Our head coaches salary is not outlandish. Comparable salaries are not hard to find in the NCAA for head coaches. Can you point out any defensive coordinators or d line coaches that make as much as your coaches? No. That is where people disagree with Tennessee and your argument. Basically your argument is we got a sub par head coach so we could get a good staff.

what makes you think kiffin will out-coach proven SEC and national championship caliber coaches? all weve seen kiffin do is get booted from oakland for sucking.... whats changed? why is he all of a sudden an excellent college coach? b/c he was the OC for a loaded SC team? one playing against awful defenses? he was so good, they had ZERO problem replacing him.

why is monte the defensive savior? does he have any experience working with 18 y/o kids? the tampa-- ERR- tennessee 2 may work, but prepare for it to take a few years, especially when eric berry leaves in a year.

right now, tenn is not a good football team, and have a ton of question marks across the board. if i were a vol fan, i wouldve shut my mouth and hoped to sneak up on some teams and make a bowl game this year. now, you have the bullseye painted on your chests b/c kiffin wants to prove hes a big, bad, tough guy. get ready to see many SEC coaches run up the score as an initiation present to your bonehead coach

Maybe you should read the op again. That's not even close to what it was about.
