Canada should give this student athlete a call. We should not let talent like this go out of state without an allout effort to secure his signature. Gatorade Player Of The Year 2016. 6 FT 4 IN 225 LB Dual Threat Qb.

I agree. He looks like an awesome player. If we aren't sure on Narcisse AND he has 2 torn acl's then we need to offer this kid.

He signed his aid with them last night and is trying to get on campus there tomorrow or Saturday.His recruitment is done.

I don't know who at LSU is responsible for evaluating and recruiting QB's, but whomever it is has done a crappy job. When I watched the state final I saw a QB who was never rattled, made plays with his feet when he needed, went through a progression when he dropped back to pass (how many high school QB's only watch one receiver when passing, most) very good arm strength, very accurate, managed the game well. My first thought was, Miss St getting the second coming of Dak. I really hope Canada see's this guy and get's him in purple and gold.

I am not a HS football scout or talent evaluator but I know some people who are. They tell me that Thompson is one of the best QB prospects to come out of La. in a long time. He is not considering LSU because Cam Cameron told him he was a tight end. My response was that Cam is not here any more and that is one of the reasons why. Too late for this guy. I hope it is not Dak Prescott part II.

Unfortunately, this ship has sailed. He really wanted to come to LSU but felt slighted by Les and Cam. He is 100% committed to Moo St. and there is a 0% chance of flipping. This is coming from one of his coaches.
