He was a blazer at Ruston. I hope we bring him home. He should be in the 200-205 range now. Could be steal.

Just looked him up, minimal playing time in 2021 and redshirted. Didn’t play this year and entered and withdrew from the portal once already in Sept. Not much to go by on this guy.

Didn’t play at MSU, won’t play here

I liked him coming out though.

Tulane and ULL both are becoming nice places for RBs to show out

LSU is going to be VERY selective in the portal. We aren’t just going to offer every ex Louisiana prospect at positions of need

Hargrove is a good kid as I know someone that coaches him at Ruston but apparently he isn't the same back as he was prior to his injury his senior year

I wouldn’t say he isn’t the same RB. He was under concussion protocol during the spring. I think Bull Hargrove is still a really good back. He is around 200-205 and he still looks good.

He wasn’t a blazer for sure. If he was a take then they would have picked him up then. If he is transferring it’s unlikely he has developed into a LSU type back.

He was a 10.5 - 100M Sprinter and the anchor for Ruston’s Outdoor State Championship T&F team. He might have looked slow on tape, but I can’t ever remember him being caught from behind, except when he was hurt his senior year and still came off of injury to dominate Catholic for over 200. Was always the strongest kid in the weight room.

I feel like you are tongue-cheeking about a certain Bengal. Eh?

Hargrove vs Diggs vs Kiner was a hot topic. Now we have none of those 3 and signed Goodwin who hasnt done much. Also in that class LJ Johnson and Wheaton who have done zilch.

TU - higher ranked and better bowl this season
ULL - ranked last season unlike LSU

Not sure we should discount their players. Somehow these "lower level" programs are perceived to have better players and/or coaches than LSU during the last 2 season.

Really liked this kid coming out of high school, and for people saying we shouldn't pick a QB up. If every RB stays this year LSU will have three senior RBs in 2023, 2 of which will have no more eligibility. If we lose Goodwin either after this year or next, you lose likely 4 RBs leaving you with Kaleb Jackson and Trey Holly.

While it's not 100% necessary to get a RB, like fantasy, it's nice to stash one like this to prepare for any hiccups in the future
