Maybe they can beat West Monroe in the next few years and it seems that Ruston's program is on the rise and West Monroe's is declining. 1990 was the last time they beat them.

Dude needs to switch to full time WR in college. That stop and go motion is sick. He could tear it up as a slot WR.

They hired Kyle Williams in the off season also. He was interviewed and made it crystal clear he is there to stay and even told Baugh he will be there every day to help build a championship team.
Ruston has a young hungry staff with boatloads of talent finally coming out to play that use to stay in the classrooms after around 2002 or so.
Ruston should beat WM next season with better talent and a very good young sophomore quarterback, but I will believe it when I see it. West Monroe is going to be weak sauce next season and looking to move Payton Todd to Quarterback. From the horses mouth himself...and his momma.

Man I hope you’re right. I’ve been watching Ruston play since 2001. I’ve seen many games that could have gone Ruston’s way only to see WM find a way to win. Ruston is starting to turn a corner. If they can find a way to turn it the future is bright. It’s a growing city on the rise and has some promising days ahead.

Ruston also played Airline and ASH.. They had the top Power Ranking in the state..
Bull was a safety last year and begged to switch to RB. He was the backup RB this past season.. In junior high he was a homerun hitter and JV he was a homerun hitter and he always swung for the fences. He had 1500 yards this past year rushing and almost 500 receiving yards for a 7.5 Yards per carry average. Most don't know of him but have quickly learned that he is a good back but a better young man. He doesn't mind earning his keep and that is what makes him special. He had several games of 3 TD's and one with 4. First two carries against Zachary was for 100+ yards and 2 TDs.
He played against the best Louisiana had to offer and never shied away from contact. He prefers to run over kids, but understands he has to stay healthy. He has a linebackers mindset, because he played some LB coming up and loves to hit and be hit!
Ruston has a ton of talent. Kenny Wright is also training the DB's and Safety's during the break. He is bringing a different mindset to the secondary. Hopefully he gets added to the coaching staff. Kyle, will be in a consultant position more than anything and has been around the team before retirement. The door has always been open for Kyle, but needs to be open for other former players also.

Camar Wheaton (Greater Dallas area) has the 2nd RB scholly after Kiner.
If Wheaton doesn’t go LSU’s way (unlikely) then this kid is a possible late pick-up.
