If he commits does the staff tell the JUCO TE to look around for another place to play?

hey are basing it off his hold that tiger tweet. Seriously espn is so bad

To be fair, it's not ESPN as in the main HQ in CT. It's rinky-dink Lafayette sports radio who just happens to be an ESPN affiliate.

Looks like this guy took a tweet about heading to LSU for his official visit as a commitment.

Gotta be careful making assumptions.

There has to be some other play with this guy. I think they might want him at LB or DE or something.

I just don't see him getting any action as TE for LSU. But who knows.

LSU needs a body considering almost every returning TE was injured this year. Plus you should sign one every year.

I can't disagree because no tight end does well here but Bama thinks he's an elite guy and that's good enough for me. Size is overrated at TE, particularly a pass catching one.

He just posted pictures in lsu uniform on twitter and it said go tigers and tagged lsu football. He then deleted it minutes later and then posted that he was taking his officil to UF.

I would have loved to see the reactions from the Florida schools when they saw the bad headline.

Aren't they supposed to tell McClendon to explore other opportunities?

No. We have a giant gap in TE recruiting from a couple of years ago. THAT’s what McClendon is supposed to fill. Some of you never can learn that a juco doesn’t fill a need for THIS year’s class. It fills needs from PAST classes.

I doubt we take 2. We have Pettigrew coming back to go along with Sheffer, Scott and Moffitt.

Plus, I've got a feeling Parker is going to see some time at tight end next year and they'll move him to OT later in his career. He certainly won't contribute at OT next year, but I think with his athleticism he could contribute in goal line and 2 TE sets.

Yeah. I forgot about him. He's had several foot surgeries though. Probably wouldn't be wise to count on him.
