Oklahoma & UGA are after the best athlete in your own backyard But you haven’t offered

Georgia has cachet on this, but Oklahoma? Outside of CeeDee, no Oklahoma receiver would be in the top 5 combined WR corps of LSU and Oklahoma.

You keep saying he's the best athlete in the state and to watch his "tape". I watched the highlights of his junior year, and he looked good. Best athlete in LA? No sir! He looks tall, strong and fast, but he also looks a little stiff.

I'm comfortable with him in this class or without him. He reminds me of Racey McMath, who is a very good receiver.

The thing to remember about our discussion of him, or most other recruits, is that we have a very limited amount of data. We rarely see anything but highlights. The coaches are looking at complete game film. That shows the plays that he looks bad in, also. They also look hard at character. I am not suggesting anything negative, but it's possible the coaches know something we don't. A kid could be dumb as a post, too.

You have to watch his basketball tape to get the full understanding of the type of athlete you are dealing with here

It’s all about projection. This kid is the 2nd or 3rd best prospect in the state. Like Bech might be a better player, but he’s not a better prospect. Don’t mix those terms up

All of that film was him playing defense
Looked like they have him playing corner/edge

Would love to see some camp film

Are we pretending Oklahoma isnt a national power?

Why the hell do you think what you said is relevant?

McMath doesn’t move like this

6’3” with a 38” vertical

20 ACT. He can go just about anywhere he wants

Cause he had one catch for positive yards that game (had to be sent in motion to get him free of the man).

He might be one of those guys that likes basketball more than football

You can tell from that film that he is still learning football
At this time I don't see him in the class
Why take a maybe when u have a sure thing, that has been playing football

I don't get wrapped up in a player until they decide they are a Tiger. Until then, I may want them to be a Tiger, they may want to be a Tiger, but I'm not emotionally wrapped into them either way until they actually are a Tiger. Then I'm all-aboard and supportive. If they end elsewhere, good luck to them.

Why are we talking about Bech? He’s not who we’re going after instead of Coleman. Hilton is a better football player, holds multiple records in high jump, and plays basketball too (3 sports OMG!!!!!!). Thomas is a better football player and hold basketball offers too. No one is saying Coleman is a scrub, but at best he’s the 3rd best WR in the state

I’m not so sure that those guys are better, and that they just haven’t gotten more exposure

The jack bech stuff was to explain how coaches evaluate players. Someone mentioned Coleman’s numbers & they plays he runs. It’s not about it, it’s about his physical profile as an athlete

So Bech can have 22TDs & Coleman can only have 35catches, yet still be the better prospect. Bech might be the better HS player

That’s ironic coming from you. You’re the one crying about a kid not having a offer from LSU clown

I’m talking ball, don. You are either in or you’re out, and you’re offering nothing right now

Take a look at his basketball tape. He jumps like emmitt Williams and is 6-4. Can't teach that I don't care what the competition level is is

For reference, Hilton and Coleman both competed in the high jump in 2019. Hilton- 7’0”; Coleman- 6’2”

Don't believe that. Sophmore year, and Heard he jumped over forward. No clue how to high jump. That's just showing up at a meet. Ive seen him dunk it between his legs. Some nba players cant do that.

If it is his leaping ability you worried about. Dont

This was from a camp 1 year ago. The high jump is super technical. Let’s not question this kid’s bunnies lmao. Put the tape on, anyone can see the kid can jump

Looks like he'd be an interesting DB prospect too based on the film

For comparison sake, people love Sage Ryan but a long athletic kid like this in your secondary could be every bit as appealing with more upside

Yep that why he’s a take. Just get him in & find a spot for him.
