he's told texas and texas fans for months he's not going there. The writers keep insisting UT is in this and leading readers on. It's not his fault if their fans are upset. He's been upfront with them for a long while.

I doubt that after reading this board, we have very fickle fans. KV is a great recruit who is locked in to LSU. When you have the best Defensive Back coach rather perceived or factual in the country recruiting is easy.

Good kid who likes Texas but likes LSU more and made a commitment he's gonna keep. Nothing to be upset about, IMO.

Before a week until signing day, this board is usually made up of level headed fans. And in general this site doesn't make up a majority of LSU fans, it just exposes some.

This attitude matters far more than the number of *'s this kid has. Rare for a young guy like this to be that focused on whats really important here.

the Horn fans that actually follow recruiting year-round knew that Vincent wasn't coming to Texas and was solid in his commitment to LSU. This was 9.95 bullshite drama for the casual fan who wades into the recruiting waters in January and eats anything that's served to them.
Vincent will be great at LSU.

Vincent is an Aggy legacy, his father was a WR for A&M back in the day. They were invited to the Auburn-Aggy game in 2015 and were told an offer would be made. After the loss they followed up by not offering Vincent -- ignoring them during the trip until finally well after the game his position coach met with the two of them. That meeting with DB coach Terry Joseph (who just left for UNC) was so bad and so contentious that Vincent Sr. just fricking left while it was still going.
Chavis, Joseph, and later Rumlin all tried to apologize or mend fences but no dice. Chavis was involved way too late and Rumlin only exacerbated the issue when he finally got involved.
