Don't think he was even considering LSU given the way he was talking

Lemoyne had him on lockdown.

He wasn’t ever going anywhere but TCU.

Be knows he wouldn't play for a while if he chose LSU. Playing time would probably be my deciding factor too.

He is behind Shawn Robinson at TCU. Shawn will be a soph.

Players are going to be more willing to take this risk if the program they are headed to showcases QBs and will get them noticed. LSU has some work to do to get into that conversation.

I don't know how anyone can disagree with your post. LSU has about as bad of a reputation you can get for developing QBs at a major football school. It really is a problem that needs to change in a hurry.

Losing the top QB in the state to TCU is inexcusable

Admittedly, LSU has done a poor job of developing and showcasing QB's since Mettenberger. OTOH, TCU doesn't really have a history of producing NFL QB's either.. According to this site, their only recent QB drafted was Andy Dalton and he last played at TCU in '10. We don't have to do a lot as far as QB development to start getting attention from good high school QB's. Given our history of excellent defenses and skilled guys, a decent QB should post favorable #'s at LSU and get some attention from the NFL.
