are the position rankings not updated? i don't understand why players listed below him on position rankings would be in the top 250 and he wouldn't.

Yeah. Somebody screwed up with his eval, and given the schools who offered, it looks like Rivals.

Still a 4 star. Probably sitting right outside the top 250 but I agree, Rivals is retarded. Was USC not impressed at the rising stars camp? They said he was one of the bright spots...

I watched the AMP videos of Maclin from the Rising Stars camp, and he looked like a monster out there. Needless to say, I'm left scratching my head on this one.

Which is the point I was trying to make. Practically everyone was glowing about him at the camp. So, he has flaws? Who doesn't? If you dominate the USC camp, you have to be special with all the athletes they bring in. Its the same thing if he came over and dominated our camp.

It doesn't really matter I guess. I think Rivals does a pretty good job evaluating guys and I trust their rankings the most. Its just annoying when they do this but they do miss their rankings on a lot of prospects every year. They're not perfect, obviously.

He'll be in the top 250 eventually, maybe top 100. Even though LSU's class has filled up already it's kind of early in the process.

The stars don't mean shite till the end of their senior season. Senior year is make or break.
