But there's room for a lot of improvement on both sides of the ball concerning the OLine and DLine, they know that and Orgeron said that.
no doubt. We know it, Staff knows it.

Also, the secondary concerns me right now too, they must get going and improve, Greedy is the only one playing well right now.
Agreed. We are giving up some rather big chunks. Worth noting, seems to always be when QB goes 2+ plays without pressure. Maybe... more rotation on DL and let back-4 fix itself?

I agree, and maybe some situational disguised blitzing, you know sending the corners off the edge or delayed LB'ers up the gut. Anything to get to the QB to make him hurry on throws or just completely sack his arse.

Fulton played well against Auburn.

I'll go back and watch those Ferrell plays that Goon mentioned. Good insight.

I like Harris in the class and Davis in 20 out of JUCO. Unless something changes, I'd say we are the leader for both as it stands.

Are you sure you're not thinking of Logan instead of Farrell? Logan played 50 snaps to Farrell's 11. Logan was the one at LDE on the drive in the 1st quarter where we stopped them on both 3rd and 4th down and 1.

They'd take Harris and Sopsher's brother as Juco DEs?

Yes, I know Fulton played well and improved against Auburn, but he still did some bad things in spots. But my comment I made was more about the overall secondary and not a specific player. Delpit did some good things against Auburn too, but they still did some bad things against Auburn that they just need to clean up, and I think that will happen with more improving in each game. You just want them at their best by the time they face Alabama because that Tua kid won't be making mistakes like Malik Rosier and Jarrett Stidham. His arse will be slinging the ball all over the place, so they have to be ready for that challenge, and I think they're capable of it with the talent they have.

Agree, but I think the LB play was more problematic against Auburn than the secondary. Stidham can't move or throw as far as Tua, but he is an accurate passer, and didn't complete an overly high percentage of passes in the game.

I more didn't like giving up a 100 yard rusher. There were some bad run fits by the LBs, and the whole front seven got out of position a few times against the draw play in the second half.

If they decide he is a take.

Looked him up, he's only played in 1 of 4 games so far this season...why is that?

In the OP pic, there seems to be a cast on his left hand

I mean, yeah, I'm sure he wants to play here. I just wonder how LSU would make the numbers work.

What is it they don’t trust in Shelvin? Stamina? Play him tell he gets tired then take him out.

Shelvin’s problem is mobility. I saw him play in SELA game and he is so overweight he has no range past the next gap over either side. He needs to get in shape if he wants snaps.

I think you are right, and I am wrong.... at least on the 4th & 1.

Looking at the drive summary Farrell made tackle on 1st down, Logan did on 2nd.

He'll see some more action on Saturday against LA tech and probably against Ole Miss as well. Thomas is coming along, so is Shelvin, we just have to be patient with them...and hope they are patient. Thomas didn't get a redshirt last year but I bet they try and see if they can sneak in just 4 games for him this year to come back next year as a redshirt soph.

How? He plays at Hutchinson CC.
