Except Johnson is nowhere close to the freak that Willis was
Willis was 6-2 220lbs and ran a 4.6
Johnson is 6-3 235lbs and runs a 4.63

Unless LSU is able to pull Jernigan I agree.
Yeah, sorry, him too. He's just not coming here sans a miracle.

Want to bet on it?

Willis was a 3 star coming out of highschool.

I think we have a very good chance of pulling jernigan from all accounts

I'll likely get blasted but I do hope that Fleming can come in on a track scholarship then pick up with football in a year.
He's perhaps the best athlete in the state and I know he has a history of some really bad decisions but it sounds like he has made some good moves and worked to correct his life.
I don't see the harm in bringing him in on a track scholarship. That puts him in a college town on campus and forces him to continue to prove he's shaken his background off.
He and Briggs are the two that I would hope we could bring in with greyshirts or walk-ons or whatever outside of Rasco.

Biggest mistake this kid will make. How many times does he really think Ole Miss is going to be on TV?
Plenty... When they're being a stepping stone and looking foolish against the rest of the SEC.

There's some type of a chance there, I just doubt it happens.

this doesnt make much sense on the surface
but, different kids value different things i guess. to be honest, i'd rather him go waste his career at ole miss than at a real school where he could hurt us...and i dont mean that in mean or hateful way

ah this hurts a little I really wanted to see him in P&G but he'll be a good player for sure.....now lets see what happens when him and hilliard go at it for years to come
PS I guess we can wait and hear officially, weird things happen in this recruiting business

It definitely won't be a Justin Vincent running at him that's for sure
Also, just means one more LA LBer in 2012 won't be leaving the state

Have to say amen to that DBG. He can have a great game against us (a'la Pat Willis) at OM and not really effect the final score that much. The same kind of performance at 'Bama, AU, MSU or UF could be enough to turn the tide, no pun intended.

So he'll never go to Atlanta. to each their own.

what does that say about his character again?
Surrounding himself with people he feels comfortable with is more important to him than winning national titles.
if that is what his decision is about, its a commendable one. Not everyone is out for the spotlight and the big stage.
