Just looking at committed Players for 2019 the rest should be Defense?

That's 4 total give us 23 with 2 more either way. I would love 1 WR (GP) and another surprise DL

Yeah but it's super quiet on who the de and rush olbs will be.

I think the biggest thing to watch at end will be trying to flip Handy. He was committed to us at one point. I’m still praying we can somehow manage to get Ika and Sopsher, although it’s wishful thinking. Then you could round it out with Emery, Lee, and another.
I would still love to pursue George Pickens, and Nakobe Dean. If we could somehow get Taulia then I would give the staff massive credit. Highly unlikely a lot of these go our way, but we will see.

100% agree on atleast 3 more DL. Would not mind them all being interior guys, as we get Chaisson back.
I get the strong feeling Sopsher to Bama, getting the Surtain feeling down the stretch.
I could definitely see CEO and company doing the grad transfer way and saving 1-2 schollies. Which would further make the long term problem worse but we only have one guy committed and the rest we are after are leans to other people or flips.

If my memory is correct, Coach O has said he wants another QB in this class.
We need another interior DL, a RB (Emory), a pass rush DE/ OLB, the WR from Amite, maybe one more DB, and probably another TE unless Parker from Ruston fills that need
And a Field Goal kicker to replace Tracy.

We've got a pretty good one already committed. A kid from Texas named Cade York. I think he's supposed to be one of the top kickers in the country.

Not really... how can it all be defense, when we know we are taking another RB?
Also, Taulia (likely false hope), Lee, and any stud OT are absolute takes as well.

If Jay Ward is in as a cb then that leaves 5 spots available unless someone decommits.
My 5 would be 3 dl.
Preferably ika; handy and maybe derick hall.
1 rb preferably Emery.
Then 1 of Cross; Taulia; Knight; Lee.

Yes from what I have read and heard . Just combining information from different locations.
My dream finish would be to have McClendon decomit.
Use Parker as TE for 1 year if needed and let him grow into an OT.
Then my dream finish would be:
Taulia; Kight; Ika; Handy; Emery; then either pickens; Lee; or a smaller de/pass rusher

It is a very long shot in my opinion but the odds increase if we can flip his OT imo.
