If we lose Davis, I think we'll get Reed in return. Davis was one of the main reasons Reed decided not to come here, IMO. LSU would promise him PT then and that is something he would want to hear for sure.

You'd be wrong about that

If he goes to TX he'll enjoy watching SEC teams beat the shorthorns in championship games, see College World Series this past summer and BCS championship this January. After AL beats them next month the SEC will have won 5 of the last seven BCS championships.

w/ the two teams' respective seasons, and Mac on the way out, Davis is as good as gone.

CT I guess but he hasn't shown much of anything yet.

C. Tolliver was killing in the spring. I put money on him being the 3rd or 4th receiver next year.

I am in Austin too and it is the worst local sports radio in America. Unless Rivals or Scout report it I would not believe anything you hear on the street here.

He needs to be hired first! But I am sure Miles is doing his homework right now...he knows how important it is to make a quality hire...

Might have committed to the Horns Today.. No Link, just heard through a guy who heard from who heard from a guy.. You know how that shite goes.. It was on one of their premium sites..

Honestly, if Davis was your son and he is obviously a potential NFL prospect. Why would you tell him to go to the 106th ranked offense in the country?

Few things to think about"

A. Texas will be breaking in a new QB next year

B. Depending on how the WR depth chart shakes out, he could see some good playing time next year.

I'm not judging the validity of these points, but they are worth at least a consideration.
