The amount of talent at this camp is insane, I don't think there's ever been this much talent at our camps ever. And we are still waiting on big guys to come in.

As you know, normally I shite on hyperbole at every opportunity.

I don't think this is hyperbole, I think it's an accurate statement. And it covers the '14, '15, and '16 classes.

Faulk was top 10 and would have been a 1st rounder if he stayed healthy.

There was one service that had him ranked very low. LINK

I do think he was on track to be a 2nd round pick though, maybe sneak into the first.

And the crazy part is, two of the top '17 class recruits will be at camp too. The '15 class is going to be good.

I'll amend it when his dad stops posting pictures of him at the Bama camp.

Though the last pic was him near Devin White, hopefully discussing their future in Baton Rouge.

We simply have not had the talent on the oline people think we have. Hurst, lonergran were middle pack 3 stars coming out. Ranked anywhere to low 30's to mid 60's at their position. Faulk was top 10 and would have been a 1st rounder if he stayed healthy.

This year our oline will be the best in the miles era. La'el, Alexander, turner were all top 10 recruits at their position.

Barksdale, Blackwell, davenport were all dlinemen.

I agree with all of this, great post

It was an ESPN sucks at recruiting coverage reference. Chris Faulk and Jalen Mills being low 2-stars amuses me.

And Carnell Stewart. They've taken 4 or 5 backup defensive tackles and turned half of them into All-SEC/All-American college players. Guys who barely played O line. The talent they had in the past doesn't even compare to the future.

Once the season starts the LSU O-Line will be one of the best, if not the best in college football.

I don't know about that, but I do think it will the best LSU has had in a while. Collins, Turner and Alexander all have pro potential. Then you look at guys like Boutte, Pocic, Brumfield and Clapp coming in, the future on the OL looks bright.

You'll see in about 2 months. Having Cameron opens up more time for Stud and Miles to work on the younger guys.

@GLaneyESPN: ESPN 300 S and LSU commit Devin Voorhies ran a 4.5 40-yard dash at #LSU camp today. Solid showing probably solidified his spot in the class.

@GLaneyESPN: ESPN 300 DL Davon Godchaux looked every bit of 270 today. Impressive looking kid, more mature than last fall. #LSU camp

@GLaneyESPN: Noticed RBs Darrel Williams (Marrero John Ehret) and Sione Palelei (Gonzales East Ascension) at #LSU camp. Williams worked, Palelei did not.

@GLaneyESPN: @sauceberry I believe Brandon may be coming tomorrow. Played phone tag with him earlier, but I'll find out.

@GLaneyESPN: Breeland Speaks (Jackson Callaway), who has offers from Ole Miss, Miss. St, FSU, Arky and S. Carolina, looked impressive at #LSU camp.

@GLaneyESPN: ESPN 300 S Hootie Jones (Monroe/Neville) looked like a linebacker at #LSU camp today. Probably weighs 215.
