Pate came to LSU early summer 2019 and saw what Burrow was doing with his receivers. He also sensed the synergy between the team mates. He was the first non-team-affiliated beat writer to suggest LSU could have a very special season that we all got to see unfold.

I thought his take was spot on. The Kelly haters, the Ogre lovers, and the typical LSU Brook Trout fans either won’t watch this, or will say Josh Pate is clueless (as can be seen from the responses)
