Seems like if he was gonna decommit he would’ve done it already idk I’m cautiously optimistic
I actually agree with this line of thinking to an extent, though we are not that far removed from his visit.
My feeling is if he doesn’t cancel his trip to USCe beforehand and commit to LSU, then LSU will lose him to the “play for your home state in front of all your family and friends” pitch.
If he visits USCe again, I think it will be because he is truly torn and doesn’t know where he wants to go at that time.
In that situation, I’ll give them the advantage.
USCe is my pick. Hope I’m wrong.

I'll count that as an LSU vote.

Why should he be pressured to stay in State when Muschamp's son is leaving ?

Called a psychic. She is very accurate. Said it would be either LSU or USCe.

Well that's just stupid. He needs to worry about letting himself down, not Columbia. It's pretty clear cut that LSU offers much more opportunities for him to be successful and to be recognized than south Carolina can offer him. We play in bigger games, in primetime, with much more scouts constantly around our program. It's just a fact. Just like Kentucky offers a player more opportunities to be successful and be noticed than LSU does in basketball. That's why you can't blame kids from Louisiana that would choose to go to a program like Kentucky over LSU. Will Wade seems to be Chang my that narrative at LSU though and we are on the right track, but you still get my point. It's just the way it is unfortunately for south Carolina. They can't compete with LSU and don't get as much recognition as LSU and it's players do bc we are a much more successful program than them. If Burch wants to maximize his potential and truly get the most out of his college career, he will choose LSU. This is a no brainier really. I think he comes to LSU in the end bc he will come to the realization that it's his best opportunity long term and the pros far outweigh the cons when comparing LSU to South Carolina. It's just that simple. Geaux tigers!
It's the same decision as when a student has an opportunity to go to an ivy league school. they're the best at what they do. They're the top of the ladder in academics and it would be stupid for a student to pass an opportunity like that up just because it may not be close to home. The same decision translates to LSU in burchs situation regarding LSU vs south Carolina. LSU is the top of the ladder in terms of football and it would be dumb to pass up the opportunity to come here just bc it's not in his backyard. He's a damn elite football prospect, he needs to come to LSU.

LSU up until the night before his announcement - then the infamous change of heart and decides to stay home- He sends papers to South Carolina.
