But Crown, I was told this was a lie.

Was saying all of this info made no sense, but people wanted to listen to the Texas sunshine pumpers pumping up their own team instead of what our insiders whom are not biased were saying.

For a team that hasn’t won a natty in 20 years, Texas fans and insiders sure buy into their own hype.

Nahlin and wells are bafoons- they have to be the worst ON3 insiders but it works out because the work for Texas

I’ve seen this making the rounds lately

Has a school ever been so confident yet so wrong on many of their recruits?

quote:Was on an On3 youtube video about kids that Texas could possibly flip. They mentioned 3 and one was (Zion) Williams. The guy said he doesn't see Williams as a flip possibility, only that Texas won't stop trying to get him til the end. The Texas fans comments were hilarious though. They felt defeated basically saying, stop lying to our faces

None of them believed they had a chance to flip any of those kids.

“Zion is a Texas kid if you ever talked to him”

Williams isn’t committed anywhere, so he’s not a flip candidate.

Think he was talking about Zion Williams, the DT from Lufkin that is committed to LSU.

See LSU offered 2025 S Jacob Bradford from Catholic.

I don't think anyone know his brother. Is it the one that is 5 star for 2026? Can't be lol

I mean with Williams. All I’ve read from several posters is that his dad is a judge and this kid won’t be influenced by money. Seems a little strange Texas comes out of nowhere last week after he visited for a day. Couple that with their pedestrian football recruiting class for 2025. Seems to me they are getting desperate.
I am one of the people who don't think NIL is the number one factor in his recruitment. That doesnt mean it isnt a factor. The kid said " I won't be bought" in a interview along with the fact his family is well off. I also think the interest in Texas has more to do with Texas hiring the AM baseball coach who was heavily recruiting Williams when he was still the coach at AM. Could be JJ doesn't think he is as big of a baseball talent as the Texas coach does.

Jonah Williams will be going pro in football, not baseball. Texas felt like a courtesy visit for Schloss, but if he chooses Texas for their baseball coach he’s got the wrong people advising him

It just seems like LSU is the common consistent being reported by all sides kinda feels like Pickett
Posted on 7/31/24 at 9:56 am to Captain Crown
I agree. LSU offers the best combo of football and baseball and by all reports won’t be outbid NIL wise. If it’s A&M then he wants to stay home and you have to respect that. I’m cautiously optimistic he chooses us in August though.
