He looks good. He had good blocking at the point of attack and no.10 at wide out is a great downfield blocker.

Guice ran like he hated the thought of being tackled. Emery looks like he’s just styling on everyone, more of a finess than angry runner.

The teams in blue and white and yellow and white looked like slow white Smurfs!!!

Like Noah Cain better but will take either!

He really doesn’t remind me of anyone. But he has great vision. Hell of a tailback

Yeah he has enough speed it just isnt that 4.3 4.2 speed.

Very unique running style he almost has a giddy-up
Will be an absolute beast with the vision and patience to make the right cuts at the right time

My first thought as well. Still a great back and a position of need.

Great highlights, but his speed doesn't pop out like I thought it would

This.
First time I’ve watched his highlights, and my impression from around here was that he compares to Joe McKnight. That is not my impression at all. Looks good, but very different than I was expecting.

LF7 ruined it for everyone. Noone comes close to LF7 highlights, although they may be legitimate 5 stars.

Yep. I don't see anything that stands out from Davis. If we end up with Davis and Cain, I'll be happy

Almost 3/4 through it when he jump cut to the right and bounced it outside I’ll stop watching that’s all I needed to see, that was an elite move. For the people talking about his speed need to rewatch it and keep your eyes on him after he bust through hole and gets to the second level how he takes off. Kinda reminds me a little of Cecil Collins

He will be a starter at LSU as a freshman. Why would he go anywhere else?

How does Emery compare with Cam Akers and Travis Etienne? Who has the highest ceiling, in your opinion?

Emery in that video had an unusual ability to run through traffic and nobody laid a hand on him numerous times.

I saw Davis play this year and one thing that concerned me is that he needs a runway to get going. UHigh ate him up because they blew up everything in the backfield. If he got to the LOS he was pretty effective but any contact in the backfield and he was done.

I have not seen anything on Cain from this season yet.

Agreed. I see a guy who doesn't have super top end speed but his acceleration is pretty strong. Hits the hole very fast

He is slippery and accelerates at the right times.

He is almost the same player as McKnight was in his school but Joe was a few ticks faster. Idk if Emery is a more complete back as Joe was cause Joe was a threat as a receiver as well as a returner also. Hell he probably was as good of a DB as he was a Rb. He is not Hill but he does have very good vision on the run. Hill was a extremely good runner at LSU at reading the flow of the defense and cutback and gash the defense for a huge gain. He is not Fournette he was a freak of a athlete and extremely physical and unbelievable fast. But he is a very very good back that can be a great back with a college weight program
