I'd much prefer a substantive conversation. I can certainly understand the draw to UGA. I just see an opportunity for us to provide a solid counter to that attraction and UGA itself opened that door.

This one could very well go down to the wire. For our sake I hope we get a solid read on where he stands because I don't want us to miss out other prospects because we misread the Emery situation.

Completely agree with all of that. Kirby's done a really good job of holding onto the guys we want since he came to UGA, but this is definitely going to be one of our toughest tests yet.

Holyfield was very good against LSU, but Swift is an elite talent. My guess is that you are basing this off of 7 carries in a single game

I know Swift is elite, and based off of this season, I still think EH is better. Just my opinion.

this is by far the best and most respectful discussion about Emery that GA and LSU fans have had on this site so far

You mean, this is more enjoyable than that shite show of an Emery thread on the SEC Recruiting page?

I think he's a much better playmaker than Cain. Cain is an outstanding running back, who has power, vision and good enough speed. But, we already have a slightly better version of him committed in Davis.

Emery is different in that I think he's a true playmaker and is a threat to go 70 yards every time he touches the ball. He's got great hands and is a tremendous weapon coming out of the backfield as a receiver.
