As a sophomore through 8 games: 53 of 90 passing (59%) for 737 yards and 5 TDs, 3 INTs; 97 carries for 900 yards and 8 TDs

And he just added damn near 500 yards to that against Bastrop. The kid will be highly ranked when he's a senior.

Yes he will.
And it already looks like his recruitment will be a circus.

Of course he is interested in what Saban had to say. A 9th grader would be insane to attend the Bama Jr day, take a pic with Saban, and not have interest with a recent NC winner and 2 time NC coach. He was probably the only freshmen there.
Coaches/recruiters can go to any high school game they want and watch any player they want. They just cant have any direct contact with the player. They can stand right next to them as long as they dont talk or communicate with them. Ive seen it happen.

Diarse against Bastrop:
Do you see Bradshaw in the background with his arms crossed? He was thinking, "damn, this kid is going to ruin my undefeated regular season record and make me share the district crown 3 ways. Wheres an assistant I can fire?"

quote:Ok. Here is the deal. Diarse is only 15 and comes from a very humble family. No leaders at this point. Does he enjoy the attention? Of course. Who would not. This is going to be like the Randle deal a few years ago. Everyone in the nation will want him and it will come down to the wire. Right now he is intrested in everyone has a 15 year old should be.I see him being a top 5 national recruit and hopefully Miles and pull him in.
I'm confused. Is he interested, or is he not interested?

He went to Bamas jr day last year. I don't think he attended any camp last year except for the Tulane day camp that came to Neville last summer.

This is true. However, it is not the same as...

Saban came to Monroe a while back and sat down with Diarse and his dad for a few hours

Heres the Bama Jr day pic from earlier this year. DeMarcus Hodge, LSU's old daddy...Nick, and Diarse

Makes me want to gouge out my eyes.

Saban looks like he really does not want to be there in that pic. He must have already known that he was not going to offer Hodge and heard that Diarse was not overly interested in bama.

So he will most likely be a WR in college?

When will LSU get on him? After junior day?

miles is already lagging behind on this kid

LSU seems to have gotten so focused on New Orleans recruiting and not so much on East Texas and North Louisiana.
There is no reason to not be on this guy early.
