Ole Mess, or That School Which Shall Not Be Named.

After how impressive he was at the all-star stuff I would be sick to my stomach if we lost him! He is going to do big things at LSU if he signs here.

These guys just need to accept being wrong sometimes. It's not an exact science, but I'd rather have straight answer than being given a bunch of loophole answers where I don't gain any information.

AND they need to be ok with giving the readers unpopular news when they hear of it. I read that these guys had bad feelings about certain situations after the fact that they conveniently withheld.

you guys ain't paying for shite so be happy with what you get and stop complaining.

I thought Jacory was solid - would surpise (not to mention disappoint) the heck out of me if he flipped.
This.
Has he taken any visits or anything that would give any real credence to this?
Wasnt his father posting on here saying hes rock solid to LSU?

I am paying for it on another site.
Posted on 2/4/14 at 1:50 pm to Linkovich
I explained it as clear as you can and I guess just to argue he turned it into a paragraph of stupid.

So because we aren't paying for information, our information should be shite?

Not to argue. I just wonder are these guys going to hold themsevles to a standard or are they going to report any and every recruit quote just to get page views and subscriptions?
I want to follow recruiting. I don't think it's wrong to want a higher quality product. I don't know any other industry where it's acceptable for the seller to blame the supplier of raw goods when the final product is unsatisfactory.

Read between the lines.
No one has all the truth when lies are involved.
These people are reporting what they hear.
In this day an age of underhanded skulduggery you never know what the truth is .
These coaches that condone this will get it back two fold.
And yes there is a riddle there

If anything I hope this cycle taught all of them to focus more on the facts and do more actual reporting than guessing. Did a guy make the visit? Did his family go? Has he camped/visited other schools multiple times? Are other prospects being recruited at that position, and are the others getting more/less focus? The answers to those questions are usually pretty telling and aren't prone to misinformation. It would be nice if they focused on those things instead of brushing past them and jumping into opinion.

You're only seeing it from one side though. Once upon a time I was close to a high school baseball player being recruited and considered a high draft pick. I can tell you that the phone calls are relentless and often downright inconsiderate. Some kids and parents get so sick of it they will literally say anything just to be left alone. I don't blame them one bit for how they handle the process. Lying to a coach late in the game is one thing but the media won't get any sympathy from me.

I'm not expecting Jacory to bolt on us, btw.
This Jacory topic came up because Jimmy Smith was asked about it in the chat; and his reply was:

As for Washingoton and Godchaux, I think they stay put, but either of them signing elsewhere wouldn't surprise me much.
