IMO Saban is using the same obvious tactics as kiffin. Skilled athletes like Jeryl are lumped into the Shepard stereotype. We are being negatively recruited, and the opposing line of thought deserves consideration.

If a special recruit allows themselves to be categorized according to the agenda of a bias party, so be it.

Personally I think Shep will earn his keep this season and encourage the future tigers like Jeryl Brazil.

You are right. Kid will be a great player with a chance to play for championships no matter which school he attends.

Decision could come down to Miles v. Saban. Who knows what an 18 year old will decide. But Eddie Lacy, Kenny Bell, Landon Collins and Denzel Devall are all likely to be contributors for this year's Tide. Would love to add JB to this list.

Bama is a premier program in the SEC but not the premier program. Not 100% sure, but pretty sure LSU won 2 BCS titles in the past decade, has won more SEC titles than Bama the past decade, and has a better record against bama the past decade. Bama just hit a hot streak after Saban & bama lost to Utah in the superdome, haha. The power will shift back this year after LSU becomes the first team in the BCS era to win THREE national titles!!! and like I said before I expect Brazil to get playing time as a true freshman this year contributing to that title, and I expect him to win one or two more at LSU before he gets selected in the first round of the NFL draft. Can't wait to see him rip sh*t up in purple & gold!!!

As much as we want him on the field for us, he still will only be a High School Senior.

Fact: LSU has been the premier program of the new millennium in all of college football. It's nice of Bama to finally try and catch up ... But that's what they are doing. Playing catch up to the BEST!

First Jacory Washington, now Brazil.

I think Bayoucat is a username that Bama fans bought and put in place on this board after it came out that Brazil and other recruits read it.

Burton Burns also got him the job as EP for the recruiting show gig and got JessicaP her writing job there too. Her being a Bama fan is obvious to me because of her @DreamsofSaturda handle. She has that because she believes all things begin and end with A. After the pictures of the old girl's face leaked out, they probably promised her she could be the new fax girl on NSD. Catfan has an A for his school logo too. Dude's never been west of Texas.

The only way we can keep Bama from stealing all of our wonderful 2014 class is to get them to all transfer to Baton Rouge high schools the way Auburn did with Reuben Foster. It's not just Jacory and Jeryl that are at risk.

The Bolden story has no validity either. Bama fans paid his family to go through the visitation process. They saw it as an opportunity for recruits that read the board to see how badly LSU fans will eat our own before they're really even ours.

Enjoy reading the board and the day. Welcome to everyone bringing info and opinions to the board. Don't forget to start checking out tape on the 2014 guys in the thread at the top. My sponsers will appreciate it.

Based on several conversations with Jeryl this recruitment is far from over and will be a battle to the end

Then why does he say he can't wait to be a Tiger in the SEC?

It's recruiting. I'm not saying he won't end up in baton rouge..but how many times has recruit X said "I am 100% committed" or something to that affect and ended up signing elsewhere

Yes, it is. That's how we know not to believe that horseshite line your School threw out to Jeryl, "We waited to offer so Coach Saban could do it personally..." It's just a coincidence this happened AFTER he blew up at the Camps.
Hopefully, his G/F isn't in a new Mercedes shortly, and Brazil sees through this garbage.

Now you've got me gump-paranoid. I'm gonna double check my wife's arse crack tonight to make sure there isn't a tiny "A" tattooed there.

Bama is a good program, but I think in the end, Brazil will stick with his original pledge & sign with LSU. I enjoy reading the 'Bama fans comments and don't worry about that contributing to steering him away. He stood up for fellow recruit Chuck Baker, so I believe Brazil is solidly in the Tiger camp.

Also, I have thought all along he should be a wide receiver and looks like there's a good chance that will happen. Get the football to him and take advantage of that explosive speed!

I agree. I wouldn't say he is solid though since he plans on taking more visits to Bama. But in the end, I think he sticks with LSU. At least for now.

Haha BornNRaised, u got me. I'm getting a little over anxious to see Brazil get the ball in his hands a few times as a true freshman. I can see him getting touches on middlescreen passes, end arounds, sweeps, etc. Maybe a few catches from Mett( when Mett is a senior of course, haha) and getting the corner on handoffs on 3rd and 1. But your right, first he gets to rack up the yards as a high school senior QB. Thanks for pointing that out
