Now this is a consequence I can agree with. Teach the kid a lesson, don't ruin his fricking life.
I think he should be allowed at LSU fwiw. Unless it's proven that he forced her.

You would need to ground your daughter and rethink your approach to parenting.
Discuss it with the boys parents (rationally) and decide whether you were going to pursue a legal course of action or let it go.

Yeah, he'll more than likely get probation, but he will have to live with the stigma of sex offender.
It's a shitty deal. The girl bragging about it has a special place in hell, but the state of Louisiana doesn't see it like that.

There are a bunch of judging asses on this website. Does this situation suck (no pun intended)? Sure it does. But is it true? Not a single person on this site knows. So until he is convicted of this crime everyone should shut their asses up and let this play out.
It is a shame that if the girl is making this shite up that these two young mens' lives are ruined. And absolutely if this is true then the guys need to get prosecuted by the law. But for christ's sake let this play out before we kick this dude to the curb. Let's not forget that Mark Sanchez was accused of rape and Lacy was accused of a crime, neither of which paned out.
