A post up with information from a student talking about her bragging about it to the school (easily verifiable).
It's still a felony crime in the state of Louisiana, no matter how retarded the law. It would fit perfectly under Felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile is sexual intercourse with consent between (1) someone age 19 or older and someone between age 12 and 17 or (2) someone age 17 or older and someone between age 12 and 15. IF she was not accusing them of forcing her to do this.

Yeah most parents probably would handle this privately.
They would not want to put the 14 yo through the public humiliation of this being in the papers and a public trial.
This type of attention can be more harmful on a child that age than the incident itself.
Not to mention the way a defense attorney will attempt to tear her to pieces and destroy her credibility on the stand.
Yes a lot of parents would attempt to save their daughter and family that type of humiliation.

Well, LA has the within 3 years rule. So, if he was 17 and she was 14, it's ok. But 18/14 is the rule.

I answered your other question. The girl is likely lying. The boy is likely lying. The boy is probably lying to save himself from fricking jail time. The girl is likely lying to save herself from mommy and daddy grounding her.

The prosecutor has to prove the act took place, period. If the girl told a friend or bragged about, he's screwed. If either guy told a football teammate or other friend, he's screwed.
