Twill go look at the Tx 50 best HS players for the last couple of years and see how many in the top 15 instate player UT did not sign. Then get back with us.

Pawprints what are you talking about I have never said we sign all the top player in Texas. I said that all of the LSU "cherry picking" Texas talent is false!

I agree that we don't cherry pick Tx talent to an extent. The way Mac Brown recruits give other schools a chance to cherry pick the player they want. I'm pretty sure the players that sign with LSU are more than enough talented to play for the Longhorns. Mac would do better if he would quit signing a class full of Jr HS players.

Cherry pick implies that if LSU wants that particular kid from Texas, it gets that particular kid from Texas. That is not the case. That was his point.
He also said that there are kids that are good enough to play at Texas, that are from Texas, that dont have any interest in playing for Texas, that Texas lets go to other places to play without putting up much of a fight. That also seems to be the case.
I am not sure why the argument is ongoing here.

We have to remember it came from an OB guy and not Lache. The statement was his opinion and not a UT press release.
