I searched and couldnt find a thread about this yesterday so hopefully I dont get decapitated for posting this, but:
I was listening to the replay of Bill King last night and he had Jeff from OrangeBloods on live. He asked him about Seastrunk and he said that UT is not recruiting him at all right now. He thinks that Seastrunk will visit UT and get some folks excited etc. but its not a good fit. No mention of
AU or any other school at all. He said in the end it will be LSU.

That's what happens when a recruit doesn't have any interest in their school.
Texas fans go from Lache being a Texas lock because he was 40 miles from up the road and there was no way he was going anywhere else to "it's not a good fit."

I don't keep up with recruiting as much as others here...but what kind of meltdown(if any) would there be if we landed Seastrunk?
I mean there has to be a point where LSU walking into Texas and cherrypicking the top recruits gets under their skin, no?

I think meltdown may be the wrong word here. And honestly, i think people are beginning to expect LS to LSU....Now, if this doesnt happen, then i could see a meltdown...not quite as epic as McKnight, but a good one..

Maybe not cherrypick per se, but you have to be concerned with shepard, loston, and lowe leaving the state last year, and seastrunk, Washington, and Davis to LSU this year

We will always be effective in Houston to the Golden Triangle to the Tyler area, but trust me, Texas gets who they want. The same way LSU gets pretty much who we want in state, but sometimes a Joe McKnight will get away. I mean, if Texas schools locked up their state, the rest of the Big XII wouldn't have football teams!
