Not sure who Wade has atop his board now. They've run through pretty much all the kids i had heard about in the portal at this point.

There are over a thousand kids in the portal and still more to come. Plenty of names out there for Wade. He can still be patient. One I am watching is Tre Mitchell.

Holding out hope Wade is going after Tre Mitchell.
ETA: did not realize that Brady Manek was in the portal. Would love Larry Bird Jr. Can hit the three and bang inside.

Tre Mitchell is who I want, but I have seen no evidence we're in the mix for him. Maybe somebody else knows something more on that.

Billy Embody, who is probably the only guy who even remotely covers LSU basketball recruiting, has mentioned before (including yesterday in a radio interview) that LSU is "in the mix" trying to recruit Mitchell. Now, just because they might be trying doesn't mean there is mutual interest. It sounds like they want to add a frontcourt player. Although in what role seems to be fuzzy. Wade said they wanted someone defensive minded there...but then was heavily involved in trying to bring the kid from ECU here, who is very much an offensive player, by pitching him taking Watford's role. Mitchell is more of an offensive-minded guy as well.
All told, it sounds like LSU is kicking the tires on everyone they think could be a fit to see if there may be some mutual interest

Wade mentioned in a recent radio interview he was considering experienced transfers in 3 roles. Scoring at the guard (Pinson?, my take) and wing positions (? Gardner, my guess) as well as a defensive paint presence. Wade, of course, did not mention any names.
