How many damn threads do we have to have about this guy? It's not a mistake that literally every single recruiting service that exists has Lindsey rated higher, nor is it an oversight that our staff didn't pursue him in the slightest.
Look: Say what you want about the way that the various LSU coaching regimes of the past ~20-25 years have recruited, but if there's one thing you absolutely cannot deny, it's that they have virtually always done an absolutely ELITE job scouting the state. Almost **never** do you see a kid they showed zero interest in go on to actually bite them in the arse. Sometimes you'll see it with kids they slow played, or kids who were Plan B when maybe they should've been Plan A, but basically never with kids they don't consider at all.
These guys have the most info on these Louisiana kids of anyone in the country. Idk, maybe they just might have an idea of which guys are worth going after.

You can watch nfl games and see those big Bama running backs and I have always wondered why the hell we are not recruiting these bigger backs. They are big, lean and fast. I think we may have missed out on a local kid in Opelousas. I watched him this year and he is a man amongst boys.

As you know badabada,
EDW plays with the kids that walk through the door from feeder schools. They don’t recruit nor give athletic vouchers for athletes. Doing that affects the integrity / culture of the school. It’s how they have always ran things and always will.

What if Jasper Parker demanded twice what Jt Lindsey did and so you never even offered him? Would you pay double for him and not be able to sign Pickett or another position of need? Or would you just sign Lindsey because their extremely close talent wise but one is coming at a much better value. Thats the reality, its not just about one vs one talent anymore. Its all taken into consideration.

You comparing first game to the last game - big difference. Plus how much did he get when game was already in hand?

You got a short memory. Moss from A&M killed us this year along with that QB. Keon Coleman at FSU killed us last year.
We aren’t getting the best kids out of Louisiana right now.
You’re out your cereal box if you think Lindsey is better than Parker. Lindsey going against in the worst football area teams is our state - CENLA and over rated North LA teams.
Meanwhile Parker doing his thing them dogs down in NOLA. That alone tells me all I need to know.

I cant speak for Lindsey, but Parker reminded me a lot of Xavier Ford. Big and physical for Highschool, but has a running style that likely wont translate to D1 unless he can gain 30lbs and get a lot stronger. I could be wrong, but I heard there is some sort of assistant coach connection with Michigan that yielded those offers. I don't think he'd be a take for LSU or Bama in this cycle with Berry and Dear already signed.

Only team ASH consistently plays in CENLA is Pineville. Rest are usually northern teams and 2-5A always represents. Ruston collapsed in the finals but has been the most consistent 5A team over the last several years. This year JT showed out against Destrehan. You trippin. Don’t let one Karr game fool you. This Karr team is one of the best in the entire country.

I can’t discuss Lindsey other than a video or two. But I disagree with your assessment. He’s plenty physical and is 6’1 200 lbs in High School. That’s plenty big when combined with his speed . He reminds me of a lot of BIG 10 style backs who have that one cut and go style. Ohio State specializes in guys like this. Speedy as hell after the cut. I absolutely love this kids game. He’s tough and he is patient and he is special in the open field.
Again, I can’t compare him to the higher profile backs we signed and trust our evaluations, I’m just saying he’s going to have a big impact down the road .
