Well, funny as it may seem, I hear Tulane is getting serious consideration from Gage. Don't think we should keep him on a string much longer. Will not walkon or greyshirt so get that idea out of your head.

tulane is his best offer at the moment. They have put together an awesome class for 2014. problem is.. think he waited too long. maybe 1 spot left. this is the 2nd year tulane has done well recruiting

i actually think we dont have to offer gage. i think he would walk on.

No. He is not going to turn down a scholarship offer from Tulane to walk on to LSU.

but i have been impressed with his predictions and intrigued how he has stuck with Gage this entire year; despite him not being offered. That shows me jimmy has some inside scoop big time.

He also ran with Gage being offered at camp and committing and that didn't happen. Only reason we will get to Gage is because we missed on so many names.

Been impressed with Tulane's class too. really liked Freddie Booth-Lloyd and think they might have got the steal in the state-Dontrell Hilliard from Scotlandville. he posted one of the nation's best SPARQ ratings and actually beat Speedy Noil head to head at New Orleans combine. Had Oklahoma state offer but wanted to stay close to home

Cameron was just at Redemptorist on the 17th to see Gage. There's definitely smoke.

LSU cant take everyone so Tulane is benefiting from that. Also going to the new conference with the ESPN contract helps too. I think a couple more years and tulane will be very competitive

of course, i'd rather that than be a bottom feeder in the SEC like kentucky.. you're in the SEC for name sake only.
at least UL is top of the food change in theirs as well. When you look at it we have LSU, UL, Tulane (on the rise) and Southern. all really good programs in their respective conferneces. That is something for our state to be proud of

Would rather Tulane step up than any other D1 school in-state. Atleast their players have to go to class. Saw they lost one of their best players, Jordan Batiste, due to grades.

I know you have more insight over there than most of us.

Is this officially the consensus ?
