Seems to be, potential wise, one of the most polarizing recruits in recent memory.

Why is there not an even remote consensus on his rankings by the various recruiting services? I don't think I have ever seen a recruit ranked so highly on some sites as opposed to others.

What in his game is viewed as the area of concern or even the potential for superstardom?

I don’t get it either.

Did his injury slow down his rankings?

I think only ESPN has him ranked low and their rankings are typically all over the place.

Yea ESPN has him very low but his composite on 247 is in the low 80s while his 247 ranking is top 20. Very puzzling.

You know how the composite works? ESPN rating is dragging his composite down.

He’s a freak athlete. I’ve seen him play multiple times, don’t worry about rankings, he will be a weapon

I do understand how the composite works. But ESPN has that big of a weight on the composite? Not so sure about that.

I don't disagree with you one bit. Not worried about ranking at all. Just wondering how there can be such a discrepancy with the recruiting services. I definitely believe in his talent.

I guess to rephrase my original question. Does anyone know why ESPN is so low on him and 247 so high on him?

This sometimes happens to players with low motors, prior injury, etc.

Was wondering what was the concern with him from ESPN or on the flip side, the love from him from 247?

I rarely look at espn for rankings. He has gone up and down quite a bit. He’s one of the best receivers in this class

Yep same here, the only ESPN I have checked all year was Chase's. And that is only because I was wondering which recruiting service was dragging him down. I don't use ESPN one bit.

Its ESPN. There are only 3 services so they are 33% of the composite. That's huge if there is a drastic drop on one service. He's high on 247 and rivals

According to fans every site does. Funny all I see is championships stacking up so apparantly those kids are pretty damn good. If only we could be so fortunate.

What about Scout? Or did 247 buy them out?

ESPNs football recruiting is garbage for the most part, I pay ZERO attention to anything they put out, it almost seems purposely bad
