Have you even watched his film?

Yes...IMO, he's not tough enough to handle the rock at Bama or LSU.

Again, we'll see.

He looks like a good player.

I want him no where near an SEC West team.

This kid may be great. however, do we really need to be scared of any running back?

We've been in the s.e.c. a long time and have seen heisman winners, runners up, long time n.f.l. backs run through every year. he's not going to be any better than Jamal anderson, h walker, bo, ingram, richardson, fred taylor, A foster, lattimore, travis henry, ronnie brown, c. williams, ect.

Maybe, but it depends on our personnel at ILB. Judging from the anticipated Barrow move, and with guys like Feist, Melvin, and Beckwith behind him, I'd say that the word "scared" is a little drastic.

Again, IMO, Hurd doesn't look like a significant threat for an SEC back.

Sorry, I am late to the party.

Unless you know the kid and have seen him in person, it's hard to get a realistic grasp from that highlight tape. He will most certainly run anyone over that gets in his way.

What the highlight film doesn't tell you is that this kid tore his labrum in the middle of the season. He sat out two games, strapped his shoulder down, and came back to play. If it appears that he is going down with ease or accepting going out of bounds, it's because he chose to do that to keep from further injury. It worked too as he was able to finish the season and they won the state easily. He had 394 yards and 7 TD's in that game.

Since then, he's had surgery on the shoulder, already back to the point of doing pushups, and his weight is up to 220 lbs. This dude is serious!
